Well here it is folks... I woke up to this article on line this morning.. Link telling the world that a melbourne scientist has found that HIV is killed in the test tube by lemon juice! Now there has been a website for years going around that tells people with HIV to drink whole lemons with olive oil everyday and that it kills the virus in the system. Its been around for years, but has been ditched by scientists and organisations as a crank and people have been warned not to do it....
In JU there seems to be a wide range of people blogging. People with all sorts of backgrounds and experiences. What Im wondering is what is the age group of the people who blog on here? Am I being rude in asking how old are the people on here? Just to get an idea of the audience.. How old are you?? Im 31 almost 32. What does it matter? Well Id like to understand the different generations of people blogging and from what ideology they might have been brought up with.
This is a Tibetan Prayer wheel..the inscription reads "Om Mani Padme Hung" which means the Jewel in the Lotus. It is the essence of the Buddhas teaching. It is said that the prayer wheel when turned eminates the prayers into the universe for all beings to benefit. May all beings here on JU and throughout the Universe benefit from the turn of the Wheel. You can read more about the benefits of prayer wheels in this link which is really great! There is a syndrome named the "Lazarus Syndrome" and is attributed mainly to people with HIV or AIDS. Im sure we are all familiar with the biblical character Lazarus who was brought back to life by Jesus. Well its named Lazarus syndrome cause it means you prepare for death only to realise that it isnt going to happen so you start to prepare to live again. This has happened to me several times living with HIV. When I was first diagnosed my doctor had given me no longer than six to twelv...

I was so excited to get my mail today.. I got my beenie!! Dharma siad to me a couple of weeks ago that she was going to knit me a beenie. At the time I was really surprised cause for one noone has ever knitted me anything, and two we dont even know each other and she did it out of the kindness of her heart. For me this is such a big deal because I think that for someone to give like this without even knowing me then their heart really is golden. The beenie is great! It looks like i...
Went to the clinic today for my 3 month check up.. Doctor thinks all is going really great since I started the new pills in March. So things definately are starting to work. Ive also put on 6 kilos! So thats really good too! Took more blood today so Ill get those results next we...

It seems to be even happening on JU with the interaction of people on here getting more heated. Has anyone else...

Ive just got a few questions to ask... Do we want to be in relationships so we arent lonely and need to feel secure? Do we have relationships just for the sake of having a relationship? Do we stay with our partners because we build our own guilded cages and cant bare the thought of leaving? Is there such a thing as true love? Do we find that when we are in a relationship we want to be out of it and when we dont have one we are searching for it? These are the thoughts going a...
