Is there such thing as true love?

or are we delusional?

Ive just got a few questions to ask...

Do we want to be in relationships so we arent lonely and need to feel secure?

Do we have relationships just for the sake of having a relationship?

Do we stay with our partners because we build our own guilded cages and cant bare the thought of leaving?

Is there such a thing as true love?

Do we find that when we are in a relationship we want to be out of it and when we dont have one we are searching for it?

These are the thoughts going around my mind at the moment. Its been a strange few days. I have been in the city. And wandering around the thing that stuck out most was the amount of couples I saw arguing in the city. It was really noticable. Was this the effect of the full moon or are people starting to question the reasons why they are with who they are with.. I know it happens all the time.. but for me it was really noticable this week while walking around.

Is humanity starting to shake a little??

Some people do. Many people even. But not all, and not me.

why do you then?

Being in a relationship, that special companionship, offers opportunities for intimacy that you can not always get with your platonic friends. If it is with someone special, then you have someone with whom you can share special moments. You get the intimate insight of another person. While I can appreciate a beautiful sunset with anyone, it has greater meaning, for me, with the object of my affections.

Of course, there's also the sex.

Yes, there is such a thing as true love. Where you cannot imagine your existence without the other, where you are not two halves that make a whole, but 2 separate pieces that are complete when they're on their own...but that when you put them together make so much more sense......
