The Purpose of Life is to Live it..not to spend all of it searching for the purpose. Live Live Live like every second was your last.

I am Gay. I have HIV. So what?

Does this give you the right to judge me?

Does it mean im doomed to eternal damnation?

Take a look at your own life. Take a look at what makes you so judgemental.

Before my sexuality and my illness I am human. I have a heart and a soul just like you.

Take a look in the mirror... does what I am make you feel so uncomfortable that you need to condemn me?

I couldn't agree more, Phoenixboi. But who is judging you? That's not rhetorical, but a a genuine question - who IS judging you? In my experience, somebody deciding that you are - for example - 'doomed to eternal damnation' tells us far, far more about them than it does about you. Don't let them drag you down.

Christianity judges me.

That is the point I want to make here. Thanks Furry for pointing this out.

P, don't let it get to you. All this fire and brimstone garbage.....it's all meaningless at the end of the day.

Sure it is D. Because in the end there is nothing. Right?

I may not agree with what you do in your life, but you don't have to agree with me, either.
Christians are not, actually, supposed to judge....that's supposed to come at another time and from another place altogether. We all know that.
Christians who chant the mantra of "God hates fags" are wrong; God doesn't hate anybody; He hates sin. Good luck to you.

Good point.. although who says it is a sin?

Because in the end there is nothing. Right

Sort of.....because it's all impermanent, because it WILL pass.....and because at the end it's not important. I happen to think that you're an old soul....wiser than most. The people that spout off about christianity and sin and fire and brimstone are usually new souls who simply don't know any better. They're so...afraid, I guess, that they have to cling to something, and Christianity is usually the thing they cling to.

But that's just my opinion....

because at the end it's not important

No it isn't important at all. What I think is more important is the way we live our lives and how it affects those people that we love around us.

Thanks D

Exactly. If you can go to bed at night knowing that you did you best to be a good person, that you didn't do anyone wrong that day....then that's all that really matters, IMO.

I dislike people who are quick to judge others, especially without knowing the individual first. It's terribly hard when someone does that to you, they take one look at you, or they hear some rumour about you, and they are quick to judge.

As referenced in the bible, he who hath no sin, throw the first stone. It's funny how these "christians" who are supposed to be loving and acceptable as their religion says, are always the first to throw the stone.

It's hard to not feel persecuted when you are being judged unfairly Phoenix, I've walked that road before, I walk that road at times, it's hard to shake it, but learning to ignore the ignorant fools, is the best I can tell you to do. So chin up!

Don't ask me to quote book, chapter and verse, that's not me; I know that is in the Bible, however, that relations between two of the same gender is wrong. Never mind.
I've been in this movie before...I know that my quoting anything from the Bible wouldn't stop you from doing what you're doing anway, so I wouldn't waste my time even if I could point to it.

I do, however, feel that people like "Reverend" Fred Phelps and his raging, dentally challenged refugees from the trailer courts are, on a spiritual level, kind of like the handicapped at Disney World. That is, when it comes time to be thrown into the Pit of Fire, they'll be escorted to the front of the line.
I feel this way because they so flagrantly usurp God's authority to judge. It's not their place to say anything to you. They're free to disagree with what you do, based on Scripture, but to say that God "hates" you? No...with that view I whole-heartedly disagree. God loves you, just as He does everybody; He just hates our spiritual weakness and propensity to sin.
