"Is Australia and the USA really allied?"
Yes they are. Aussie fly the F-111, and that's all the proof anybody needs.
The two articles are not related.
1. Rimsfiels is worried about the buildup of Chinese conventional forces.
2. China has more than enough nuclear weapons capability at present.
3. Australia is considering exporting uranium to China. China is considering converting to nuclear power as a way to ensure China's energy needs to drive an accelerated economy into the future.
And just so that everybody is clear, Aussie's do stick a Emu feather in their cap, but they don't call it macaroni.

Well I do see some relation. One is from the US tellin China to back down and the other is showing how our country is supplying China with Uranium. We MUST remember that no matter what China is a Dictatorship with Communism as its rule.
Mark my words. The west is going the wrong way when it comes to China. Things are afoot, and we should not be complacent. This might sound overreactive, but China needs to be watched carefully.

Im sure this is what they want us all to believe. Is there foreign observers watching?
Now we have a situation in Australia where one of Chinas diplomats is seeking assylum and in the process spilling the beans on Chinas activities. And they dont seem too benign to me.
Watch and Listen and be cautious. That is what we must do. You see the chinese arent as transparent with their motives as the Middle East is. They do things differently, when we are caught off guard.
