The Purpose of Life is to Live it..not to spend all of it searching for the purpose. Live Live Live like every second was your last.

When I was a kid I used to look to the night sky and stare waiting for strange Alien craft to come flying past.

I used to want to be taken away by one of them.

When I was a kid I used to dream of masses of fleets of UFO's flying past in the sky, and one time I had a dream about one flying over me and then I heard a voice talking to me and telling me about life and how I should live to make the most of my time on earth.

Was it a dream?

I've never actually seen them in the sky, but I do believe we aren't the only ones in this universe.

Have you ever had a close encounter?

When I was about 12, I lived out in the California Desert.  The sky was so clear you could count the stars.  ON several nights I would look up into the sky and see lights flash from one star to the other.  Because they seemed to be hiding within the star light, I was pretty sure they were UFOs.

Many years later, I heard about the Perseid Meteor showers.  Guess I had a ring side view to them!

Meteor SHowers are so beautiful. It always seems to be cloudy when one is due here.

Here too!  If they are saying that the 'best night' is Tuesday, you can bet it will be overcast!

See?  I had one of the best views known for one of the best showers!  ANd I was too stupid to know what the hell I was looking at!

One summer evening about 20 years ago, my dad was out on the back deck listening to a ballgame and enjoying the twilight.
He called me outside, pointed to the west, and asked me "Robbie, what is that?"
I looked and saw five little lights, moving in a little cluster against the darkening sky, with the front one flashing. He said he'd been watching it since it came over the horizon.
We stood there and watched it for about five minutes. It was moving very slowly, and was pretty low, too, or so it seemed, at least. A plane passed by in the sky, so we were able to compare the light patterns and stuff, and it was no plane or helicopter (we didn't hear an engine or blades, either). It disappeared behind the water tower that was about 100 yards to our right, and never came out from behind it. It just disappeared when it went behind the tower. We never did figure out what it was.

We're not the only life in the entire universe...we can't be. There are 100 billion stars in this galaxy alone, and 100 billion estimated galaxies in the univrse. You mean to tell me that out of all those possible solar systems, we're the only intelligent life? No way.
Travel between those stars would take abilities millennia, or even perhaps eons, beyond our current capabilities, but I believe it exists.
If and when we do find it, though (it's a big galaxy and universe....we may never even meet another life form. It's probably something like 2 toothpicks floating in the Pacific), it's not going to look anything like us. It'll be so different that we may never even be able to understand it, or it us.

Absolutely. I've seen tons of flying objects I couldn't identify. Can't say that I have ever seen an alien, though .
