Bush Vs. Kerry: The War Among the Planets

The upcoming U.S. Presidential election takes place at a crucial time in the history of the human race. Everyone knows that America is the only Super Power. This means whoever becomes the President is going to decide the course of human history. Not only are there wars everywhere in the Middle East, Africa, etc., but also killer diseases like AIDS are causing major problems for human survival. The depleting ozone layer and global warming are potentially threatening to the existence of the planet. The U.S. election is taking place in the midst of all of this.

Who is going to win? The polls go up and down. No one knows what will be the outcome. But let us find out what the planets are saying according to Vedic astrology. Vedic astrology is a form of astrology that preceded Western astrology by a millennium. It was used to understand current events and predict the future.

George Bush is currently running his Saturn dasha, or major planetary period. Out of the 19 years of the Saturn dasha, Bush still has 1.5 more years that will be heavily influenced by Saturn. His Saturn period ends on May 15th of 2006. Saturn has the ability to destroy a person or make him a king.

Bush’s life is a testament to the positive influence Saturn can bring. Since Saturn entered into Bush’s life on May 16th, 1987, everyday proved to be miraculous. In 1988, he was appointed to advise his father’s Presidential campaign as a paid advisor. Bush bought an equity position in the Texas Rangers using money received from this advisory position. The investment of $600,000 turned into a profit of $14 million dollars. Bush was elected as the Governor of Texas and was subsequently reelected for a 2nd term. It was during this time that Saturn put the idea in Bush’s mind that he should compete in the upcoming Presidential election. The $14 million profit in cash from selling the Texas Rangers helped fund campaign expenses.

Saturn would seem to have more miracles in store for him. On September 5, 2004, Saturn moved into Cancer, the sign where he was located when Bush was born almost 60 years ago. This movement into Cancer happens at a crucial time. America will be steeped in the race for the President. Undoubtedly this is a very favorable movement for Bush. This is not the regular pattern of movement for Saturn. Interestingly enough, Saturn moves back into Gemini on January 13, 2005. Evidently, by this time the election will have been over and the new President sworn in. It is possible that Saturn could be instrumental in Bush being re-elected to serve a 2nd term.

Currently, Bush is running a Jupiter bhukti (minor planetary period) in Saturn’s dasha. The movement of Jupiter into Virgo on August 27, 2004 was bound to bring divine grace into play during the election, as this movement will find Jupiter looking directly at Bush’s 9th House of Luck. Also, Mars, the ruler of his 10th House of leadership and career success, will be in Libra during the election. From this position, Mars will be aspecting, i.e. exactly opposite, his own house of Aries. Through this aspect, Mars will be focused and supporting Bush’s leadership battle. The Sun will also be in Libra during the election. Mars and the Sun aspecting the same house will give extra help for Bush to win.

Further, on November 9th, Election Day, the Moon occupies the same sign, Virgo, as in Bush’s natal chart. The moon is only a few degrees from his birth star, Chitra. Birth star days are powerful days. When the final elections votes are being counted during the early morning hours of November 10th, the Moon will be riding Bush’s birth star bringing good luck for him.

The planets do not seem to favor John Kerry. Kerry is born under a Scorpio rising sign. Truly he has all the characteristics of Mars, who is the ruler of Scorpio. He was born into a military family on a military base in Colorado, and famously served in the military – while Mars is the warrior planet. His looks also reflect the Mars influence; he is tall, thin, and drawn.

Kerry’s Venus is in Libra; it is very strong but in the 12th House. This placement explains his marrying Teresa Heinz, who is a billionaire. He will suddenly have all the material comforts of the world. But what about his chances for getting elected? It looks grim.

Kerry is currently running his Mercury dasha (major planetary period) and Mercury bhukti (minor planetary period). Mercury, being the ruler of Kerry’s obstacle-ridden 8th House of Gemini, is not going to give him a lot of good things, although it also is the ruler of his 11th House of Profit. The 8th house is the house of obstacles and losses, and the 11th the house of gains and with Mercury ruling both means that the planet cannot help you win or lose. Further, Mercury bhukti and Mercury dasha is a troublesome period.

The 10th House governs career. The Sun, who is the 10th House ruler (of Leo) for Kerry’s Scorpio rising chart, becomes debilitated, or weakened, during the election. Ironically the Sun moves into Libra on October 16th through November 15th. This means something will happen during this time that will be very detrimental for Kerry.

Now, let’s see what happens to Mars, who is the controlling planet for Scorpio. Mars also moves into Libra during this critical time of the election. This is not good news for Kerry. By having his most powerful ruling planet Mars, move from the fortunate 11th house of gains, pleasures, and influence into the 12th house of losses, renunciation and confusion, indicates that Kerry will not have Mars’ support at the time of the election. The cumulative effect of Mercury dasha, along with Sun and Mars in Libra, will make it difficult for Kerry to win.

Nevertheless it is God’s decision. He may select either Bush or Kerry.

I like how it is almost a certainty throughout the article and then at the end it says .. well God is going to choose...

Astro-Nut-ology is what I think because if you virgo my libra combine it with a pisces of scorpio you might just end up with a taurus in a China Shoppe.

Though I could be wrong...I am willing to take that chance.

Oh and the first thing to come to my mind with your title was a Hollywood Squares show...'I will take Bush for the win.'

yeah it is interesting evilpledge... I think it's time people thought of what they really want in a president..if they want to live with fear or with love. SO I think this election will demonstrate this, if the terrorists have evoked fear and if people want that to dominate their lives.
