NOTHING is FREE not even ICECREAM

Nothing in this world comes for free.

That's right ..you read it..NOTHING.
You all think that JU is free and wonderful. Well I have news for you. It isn't.

I bet the first thing that comes to mind is money when I say free, right?

Well as most people are now aware LW and her Husband have left JU for good. I applaud LW for her decision to never blog here again, she has shown you all what cowards and hypocrites most of you all really are.

What you have given away in the last few days is your freedom to express anything you wish, all living in blogger trepidation that if you say something untoward against the owners of this site that you will be banished forever. Is that Free?

Let me ask you this JoeUser is this site Free? Is it really free? Sure you might not have to shell out one cent when it comes to blogging here but take a look at just a couple of things..

Have you ever noticed the ads that are on the sides of everyone of your articles? Google ads? They are generated by what YOU write on here, not by empty bandwidth.

I blog now on Blogger, and also have google ads on my site, they tend to generate at least 2 dollars a month. There are hundreds if not thousands of articles on JU generated by you the user of this site... imagine how it adds up. Maybe it doesnt generate much money for the owner of this company but it brings in the customers.

We are constantly told that this site is sydicated all over the place.

If as Brad says he couldnt give a shit if we blog here or not why would he bother? Why keep dishing out the FREE icecream?

Now I call most of you hypocrites and sadly one of them I have come to like over the years, Hypocrite because they compromise their values for continuing to blog here and tell the owner how wonderful he is because he is giving them a FREE service, while one of their mates has been shown the door, even though he couldnt give a shit if anyone ever blogs here or not. Hell they even are grovelling for jobs with the company!

You have been told you are worthless by the FREE icecream man and yet you still blog here!!!

In protest I will NEVER return here.

You can take your icecream sweetie and use it as lube.

Complete and utter bullshit. All you were told is don't make nasty personal attacks. People who remain here are decent enough to handle that. Calling them hypocrits just shows how ignorant you are.

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who remains her who feels Simon was one of their 'mates'. LW wasn't shown the door. She showed herself out on her own accord and I respect that as many others have.

Free speech has it's limits too my friend. You can't sexually harrass people or threaten them. There are rules for everything.

You are FREE to leave and not come back. Don't let the door hit you in the ass.

People are free to come here and be complete jerks but they are also free to reap what they sow.

Are you calling me a coward because I didn't follow her, P? are you saying I'm a hypocrite because I wrote the 'golden rule' article?

I'm no coward. I think that what Simon did was wrong, and I said as much. What's better, being a two faced bitch and making all nicey nice, or coming out and saying what you feel?

I'm also no hypocrite. I stay because I like it here. If I felt LW had been wronged in any way, I'd have left with her and Simon. But the fact of the matter is Simon did something he shouldn't have, and he got banned. Which would have been more hypocritical, me to stay here and air my true feelings, or for me to have left with LW under false pretences and to have harbored feelings of resentment because I didn't think Brad did anything wrong?

I chose the honest path.

EoIC was never my "mate", and while I liked LW it was her decision to storm off. Given all your questions above are answered elsewhere, I just have to assume that you don't believe the answers given. If that's the case, why bother to ask them again?

No one has told us we are worthless. On the contrary, we've been told that we are the reason the site is here at all. You choose to believe differently, but that doesn't mean much, frankly, given you're ass-deep in sour grapes and now you have your new little axe to grind.

If you ever undertake a website on this scale, I think you'll find that you've underestimated both the cost, and the ad revenue. I've watched Brad for the better part of 7 years and I've watched as he has accomplished what he has. I think you overestimate yourself greatly if you think your bitter conspiracy theories are going to hold much water.

Enjoy your blogging elsewhere. For some reason, though, expatriated JoeUsers seem to stay infatuated and bitter for a long time. I wish I could say I'd know how you end up, but after being talked to like this I don't see much reason to visit your blog.
